A Young man was arrested after prohibited drugs were allegedly found in a car in which he was a passenger in Goulburn on Friday morning.
About 12.30am, officers attached to Traffic and Highway Patrol Command stopped a white Holden Statesman sedan towing a car trailer south on the Hume Highway.
Police spoke to the 36-year-old male driver and a 48-year-old male passenger, before searching the vehicle.
Officers allegedly found over 33 grams of amphetamine and over 920 grams of cannabis, believed to have a combined estimated street value of $10,500.
The two men were arrested at the scene and taken to Goulburn Police Station.
The 36-year-old driver from Boorowa was released pending further inquiries; while the 48-year-old passenger from Young was charged with two counts of possess prohibited drug.
He was granted conditional bail, to appear at Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday, July 23, 2014.
