Macquarie 2100 (M2100) will be holding a free information day this Friday, July 11, so people can make themselves ready for the unpredictable challenges life throws.
Starting at 9am and finishing at about 3:30pm, the ‘Heads up for hard times’ workshop, a forum designed to help landholders, business-people and homeowners look at innovative ways tochange up to meet challenges in this variable climatic, economic and social landscape.
The workshops will be held at the Trangie Research Station.
Local business woman and guest speaker, Little Big Dairy Company’s, Erica Chesworth,willrevealknow how and why the company has continued to thrive against the odds.
Principle Focus’ Peter Debus will provide insights on developing and implementing business strategy and the day will be worth it for people battling excessive red tape and onerous regulations who think they don’t have the time to put their heads up to grab a fresh breath of air.
Rod and Isobel Knight focus on primary production issues but their broader themes are applicable to anyone trying desperately to balance the books and balance their lifestyles.
It would normally cost at least $200 to attend a workshop of this quality yet M2100 is putting it on for free.
